Principles of Design
- Balance -
is the comfortable or pleasing arrangement of things in art. There are 3
different types of balance: symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radia.
-
2.Contrast - created by using elements that conflict with one another, and it is often created using complementary colors or extremely light & dark values.
3.Emphasis - The focal area of an artwork that gives it importance.
4.Movement - means the artist is taking viewers on a trip through the work by means of edges, shapes, and colors that often lead to the focal areas. It is a visual flow through the composition.
5.Pattern - is when the same shapes or elements are repeated again and again.
6. Rhythm - is the repetition of shapes, lines and forms, it is a movement in which some elements recurs regularly.
7. Unity - means that all the elements in artwork are in harmony.

Mural Project Preview
- The theme that I could use would be the step team. The subjects I would use would be how we do our steps and what kind of different steps we do.
Elements of Art and Principles of Design
- Line - marks made by a tool and can vary in width, direction, curvature, length, or color.
2. Color -
color wheels show the primary colors, secondary colors, and the
tertiary colors. They also who the relationships between complementary
colors across from each other, and analogous colors next to each other.
3. Shape -
are formed wherever the ends of a continuous line meet. Geometric
shapes uniform measurements and don't often appear in nature. Organic
shapes are associated with things from the natural world.
4. Value (Tone) - refers to dark and light. It helps us to see and understand a two-dimensional work of art.
5. Form - describes objects that are three-dimensional, having length, width, and height.
6.Texture - refers to the surface quality, both simulated and actual, of artwork.
7. Space - refers
to distances or areas around, between, or within components of a piece.
It can be positive or negative, open or closed, shallow or deep, and
two-dimensional or three-dimensional.Reactions to the power point

1.) I think we can take photos outside, in classrooms, and around the school.
2.) I would like to visit Ms.Bagnall's, Ms.Zambrano-Welch's, Ms.Sells, and Ms.Williams classroom.
3.) I will take my photos very clear and kind of at a good angle.

Photo Manipulation and Ethics
The first day in April is called April Fool’s Day in the United States, but In Israel this year, it was simply portrait day for the new cabinet and
photographer named Menahem Kahana.Someone at the newspaper used Adobe Photoshop or a similar software
program to remove female ministers Limor Livnat and Sofa Landver and
replaced them with two men to create an all-male cabinet. A Lebanese photographer named Adnan Hajj submitted at least two digitally-manipulated images to Reuters during the 2006 Lebanon War.On April 1, 2007, the Toledo Blade ran a front-page image by photographer Allan Detrich, however Pulitzer Prize finalist had altered the image by removing the legs of a person standing in the background.By April 7, all 50 of Detrich’s images were removed from AP and the
Toledo Blade Web sites and access to his images was blocked internally.
This photo unethical because it is not in the standards of a profession.
This photo is least unethical because it looks like an improper photo.
I choose this photo because in this world today everybody has to be beautiful and look pretty. If they don't then they think society will judge them.
