The Three Pillars of Exposure: Aperture, ISO, Shutter Speed

                                                                 This photo is f2.8.

                                                                 This photo is f16.

     1) We should closely relate aperture to the backgrounds and the lemons and people.
     2) The smaller the Aperture, the smaller the pupil size, the higher the Aperture, the larger the pupil size.
    3) The area of the images that appear to be sharp are how the lemons look perfect and the castles look perfect.

                                                           High Shutter Speed

                                                      Slow Shutter Speed

1). What are the advantages of shooting with a higher ISO setting at a sporting event like a night football game?
you get a better image of the players and other events going on because of the night time.
2). What suggestions did the author make about using a low ISO?
you will get a clearer image and it works better during the day.
3). What suggestions did the author make about using a high ISO?
it is better to use it during the night because it help get a good image.

  • F 4-1/125- background is blurry
  • F5.6 -1/60 sec-background is clearer but still blurry
  • F8-1/60 sec-background is clearer but slight blurry
  • F11-1/30 sec-background is somewhat clear
  • F16-1/15 sec-background is a little clear
  • F22-1/8 sec-background is clear.
Finally, what is happening to the subject (the people) at SLOW Shutter Speeds? What could the photographer do to help combat this problem? The subject is getting more blurry the photographer can speed up the shutter speed.

Great Black and White Photographers part 3

One thing that caught my eye about these photos was the way these photos were drawn.
-I see roses combined together to make a boque.
 -I smell the stinky roses.
-I hear the stairs being built.
-I taste the sand from the stairs getting sanded down.
-I feel the softness from the roses and the smoothness of the stairs .
